Here There Is Nothing
"I've returned to writing poetry after having published fairly extensively on contemporary poetics and the philosophy of language and of intentionality. My recent poetry will be appearing in upcoming issues of Tamafyhr Mountain Poetry and These!."
By Daniel Barbiero
Here there is nothing
but water and rock
at the vanishing point
of mind.
Behind a thatch
of foxtail and reedgrass
the stick bends
in the pond
or appears to.
Here there is nothing
the emblem behind the reality
the stoke of speculation
mirror of the world
in which the world's image
is the world
and the world the image.
