Deirdre Walsh is an Irish artist living and painting in the West of Ireland. She studied under Richard Vernon Goetz at the Art Student's League of New York from 1988-1992. Her work has been exhibited widely and is in many public and private collections in Ireland and the U.S. She has a great love of American Impressionism and feels it influences her work. She also directs an Art and Health programme for the Health Service Executive in the West of Ireland.
