What is it with politically correct poetry people
Who tell us in pontifical tones, "No one wants
A sermon in poetry, preachy is a cardinal sin."

I was raised a good Catholic boy who gave
Godzilla-Nuns all the hell I could muster,
They beat prayer and sermon into me so I say

I have a right to give a few back and if
You don't like it then don't listen, take your
Sermon on proper poetry, go on, walk on

And don't let the temple door hit you in the ass.
