leaves me free to dance
to inhabit
creativity
to defy
social
conventions

Invites me to
pursue
music, color, love
a vagabond's passion
for people
for places, varied
in lieu
of money

Allows others
to disdain me
for my sense
of thievery
promiscuity
my inability
for permanence

a merry poverty
rooted in
letters of travel
granted by
royalty
perhaps I
inspire envy
in my
Bohemian
Gypsy
revelry?
