Does Not Compute

Apocalypse at my finger tips
Umbilical cord of fibre-optics, stretched across the landscape.
A handshake, a super sonic intake
I neglect to disconnect so now I am just a mistake, an error,
A blip on the screen of the escape boat that sunk on the sea of electricity.

Shane Sellar writes, I am fairly new to this poetry thing. I'm a 24-year-old male who is taking a journalism course but also making short films and writing stories which I hope to publish sometime, in my life.
