Predestined

Ram Mehta was a professor and department chair of English at a university in India for 30 years. Since his retirement in 1994, he has split his time between India and North America.

We met on the internet
To say hello, how are you?
You were to me an Eve
And I to you an Adam
Eve transformed into dear Eve
And Adam to dear Adam,
Then into my dearest,
Eventually mere Adam and Eve
We met on the net
To discuss lifestyle
Becoming life & love itself
A precious lifetime gift.
We met on the ICQ
Never seeking each other
Found as if predestined,
Seeking each other the most.
We created our World,
The world of fantasy,
Happy we are in it
Will be till we breathe.
